The WATER ELEMENT represents FLUIDITY
The Water Element for the body is to develop and maintain the body’s natural fluidity by promoting internal and external flow, synchronizing the body seamlessly through all planes of motion. Water is about full movement of the body flowing seamlessly with unrestricted ease and proper range of motion. It adds forward movement and flow to your life.
The Water Element traditionally governs the bones and fluids of the body. The organ associated with the Water element are the Kidneys paired with the Bladder, which are vitally important to filtering and expelling toxins from the body.
The Water Element for the mind is to transform fear to courage, from isolation to movement towards others, from shame to gentleness with self. When balanced the Water element emotional manifestation is Courage, Trust and Hope. There are many specific physical and psychological symptoms that manifest due to this element being out of balance.
The Water element for the spirit is to cultivate Clear Perception, one of the 5 virtues. Clear perception involves having the courage to see clearly what you want for your self and moving towards these goals with focus and clarity.

The Wood element governs the muscles, tendons and ligaments in the body in traditional Chinese medicine. The organs associated with the Wood element are the Liver and Gall Bladder, both vitally important to detoxify the body.
The Wood Element for the mind is to move mentally from rage, outward and inward, to kindness towards self and others, to become less judgmental. The balanced wood element shows kindness, assertiveness, and forgiveness. There are many specific physical and psychological symptoms that manifest due to this element being out of balance.

The FIRE ELEMENT represents EXPANSION

Earth is about your ability to maintain homeostasis, mentally and physically helping to react appropriately in any situation, improving awareness and coordination. The organ associated with Earth is the Spleen paired with the Stomach. Spleen filters the blood and is responsible for the intake, processing and distribution of nutrients.

The METAL ELEMENT represents STRENGTH
